Double Distinction and Two Awards for Kourtidis Group from the Naftemporiki Group
Awarded for the second consecutive year among the top companies and the „Diamonds” of the Greek economy.
For the second consecutive year, the Kourtidis Group was honored as a „Diamond of the Greek Economy” by the prestigious business excellence institution of the Naftemporiki Group, „Diamonds of the Greek Economy.” This year’s award ceremony was particularly significant for the Group, as it received two major accolades: the Diamond Classic and the Diamond Investor awards, further affirming its leadership role in the Greek economy. The dazzling event celebrating Greece’s top companies took place on the evening of Wednesday, December 18th , 2024, at the Athenaeum Intercontinental in Athens.
Each year, Naftemporiki recognizes companies that stand out in the business arena based on their financial statements, net results from the previous year, and qualitative criteria, such as best business practices and social impact initiatives. The goal of the event is to showcase top companies that have delivered on their „promises” to shareholders, the market, and society, improving their financial figures, creating new jobs, and making investments worth billions of euros.
During this special evening, the Kourtidis Group, as a „Diamond of the Greek Economy,” was represented by its management team and associates, who celebrated this important recognition with evident pride and emotion. The awards were received by the Group’s President Nikos Kourtidis, Vice President Konstantina Dimitrova, and Chief Operating Officer Isaac Kourtidis. The awards were presented by Panagiotis Hasapis, Executive Vice President of SEVE (Greek Exporters Association).
The Two Awards
The „Diamond Classic” award, which the Kourtidis Group has received for the second consecutive year, acknowledges its steady and upward trajectory in recent years. Meanwhile, the „Diamond Investor” award reflects the Group’s successful strategy, which focuses on the construction of modern, well-organized residential complexes of high added value. With investments exceeding €280 million and sales in 34 international markets, this award highlights the Group’s ability to create value, offer employment opportunities, and contribute to the development of local communities.
The Three-Pillar Strategy that Defines the Future
In his speech to representatives of Greece’s leading companies, Kourtidis Group President Nikos Kourtidis emphasized, “This year has been filled with awards both in Greece and abroad, but today’s distinction is particularly special for us. It is an honor to receive this significant recognition, which validates our efforts to create a positive impact on the Greek economy.”
He added, “It is our strategic choice for the coming year to support a three-pillar approach. We will continue to promote the parallel development of our Group along with our region—Kavala, Serres, Drama, and the entire coastal zone up to Thassos. Finally, we will not say no to the ‘tools’ of new technology, continuing to seek them out and taking quick, high-quality steps forward.”

On the sidelines of the event, the Kourtidis Group’s management held a special meeting with Spyros Ktenas, General Manager of Naftemporiki. Additionally, a separate meeting was held with Greece’s Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Christos Staikouras, during which an invitation was extended for him to participate in the 2nd Amphipolis Forum, an invitation he gladly accepted.
