Informative message – Preventive measures to avoid unnecessary consumption of electricity and water
Our region is a unique destination that is enjoyed by thousands of visitors from Greece and abroad every season of the year.
However, during the summer months, tourist activity increases, resulting in high consumption of water resources and electricity.
In order to avoid power and water outages due to high consumption and prolonged dry spells, we recommend that you take some measures to prevent power outages during the summer season:
Avoid unnecessary water use, especially between 8am and 10pm, such as
– Watering gardens
– Cleaning pavements
– Washing cars
– Any other unnecessary use
In order to use electricity correctly and save energy, we recommend that you do not use water for other purposes:
– Use a low temperature in the washing machine
– Switching off appliances in stand-by mode
– According to experts, the ideal temperature for air conditioning in summer is 25-28°C.
– Do not leave the air conditioner on when you are not at home.
Our Group operates and builds homes with a focus on proper energy management and equipping all properties with energy efficient insulation. In addition, it has already taken measures to reduce water and electricity consumption during the summer months:
– Reducing the watering of green areas in our residential complexes by 50% and only at night.
– Regulating the hours of public lighting in our complexes to avoid unnecessary power consumption
– Adjusting the cooling system in our offices to maintain a stable temperature of 26-28°C.
Everyone’s contribution is essential to maintain water and electricity supplies and ensure that basic needs are met
