Kourtidis Group among the “Diamonds of the Greek economy”
An important distinction for a group of companies from Northern Greece
Kourtidis Group is among the companies honored at the „Diamonds of the Greek Economy 2023” business excellence awards, which were held at an event organized by the „Naftemporiki” Group, on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at the Grande Bretagne Hotel in Athens.
Every year, Naftemporiki awards companies that are distinguished in the business arena based on their financial balance sheets, according to the net results of the previous year, as well as the qualitative criteria of their excellent business practices and their actions towards society.
The aim of the event is to highlight all the leading companies that have kept their „promises” to their shareholders, the market and the society during the current year and succeeded in improving their financial performance, creating new jobs and implementing investments of several dozens of billions of euros.
On this special evening, Kourtidis Group was represented as a „Diamond of the Greek economy” by the management and associates, who were obviously excited and proud to celebrate this very important distinction. The award was received by the group’s president Mr. Nikos Kourtidis and the vice-president Mrs. Konstantina Dimitrova from the hands of the general manager of the Naftemporiki group Mr. Spyros Ktenas.

Ms Dimitrova added that the region of Kavala and Thassos, Serres and Drama, thanks to the actions and activities of the group, has been placed in the global tourism and business map in an emphatic way.
Organisation, new investments and continuous development
Kourtidis Group stood out for its dynamic growth path. The fully vertically integrated group in the Construction, Real Estate, Investment and Tourism sectors, has reached the top with sales in 32 countries, huge residential projects, innovative products and services, and a large professional family with more than 250 employees.
The group, with 28 years of presence in the Greek business, operates with six RE/MAX Choice offices in the Prefecture of Kavala, Drama and Serres and on the island of Thassos. The group’s award-winning real estate company is a leading player in Greece and abroad with great distinctions, holding the 1st place in production in Greece for 2022 and 2023, among all real estate offices in the country. At the same time, it also plays a leading role abroad with great distinctions as it is the only office in the country that has won the Diamond and Titan global award.
Development in the tourism sector as well
The group is also active in the tourism sector, aiming to promote the area where it operates. In this direction, the development of the Ofrynio Beach in Kavala (also known as Touzla) is no coincidence. It is the crown jewel of Kourtidis Group and it is a location where the heart of world history beats loudly. The group is constantly developing the tourism part of its activities by hosting numerous tourists in the newly built residences built by its construction company OIKO Kourtidis. Today it has 2,800 completed holiday homes in its portfolio, while another 1,161 are under construction.
In the meantime, the group has created the „Kavala Experience”, an application compatible with all smartphones and tablets with IOS operating system that offers a different tour experience with audio tours. The app is available in three languages.
As for tourism, an extremely important step for the group is the organization of the Tourism Festival held in August 2023, with the aim of raising awareness of all the points of interest in the region.
