Diamond awards by Naftemporiki: Kourtidis Group among Greece’s leading companies for the third consecutive year

Once again, this year, Kourtidis Group has been ranked among the leading enterprises of the Greek economy, receiving three prestigious distinctions at the “Diamonds of the Greek Economy” awards, organized by the Naftemporiki Media Group for the 22nd consecutive year. The high-profile ceremony took place on Thursday, December 18, at the Athenaeum InterContinental Hotel in Athens, in the presence of prominent representatives from Greece’s political and business communities. The Diamonds of the Greek Economy institution consistently honors companies that demonstrate strong growth momentum, solid financial performance, innovation, extroversion, and meaningful investments in both human capital and research and development.

Among more than 400 distinguished business leaders, Kourtidis Group stood out once again, reaffirming its steady upward trajectory and its strong position within the contemporary business landscape. The award ceremony was attended by former Prime Minister Mr. Kostas Karamanlis, while addresses were delivered by the Minister of National Economy and newly appointed President of the Eurogroup, Mr. Kyriakos Pierrakakis, the Minister of Development, Mr. Takis Theodorikakos, and the President of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), Mr. Spyros Theodoropoulos.

This marks the third year in which Kourtidis Group has been honored by the institution, this time receiving three awards, a distinction that highlights the Group’s consistency, strategic focus, and long-term growth philosophy. The awards received were:

Diamond Classic, for its strong and stable financial performance,
Diamond Investor, for its strategically designed investment programs with a long-term horizon,
Diamond Employer, for the continuous strengthening and development of its human capital.

The Group was represented at the ceremony by the President and CEO, Mr. Nikos Kourtidis, Vice President Ms. Konstantina Dimitrova, Head of the Legal Department Ms. Kleoniki Gavriilidou, as well as the Strategic Advisor to the Management, Ms. Angela Gerekou, who stood alongside the executive team, underscoring her active role in the Group’s strategic planning and long-term direction. Company executives and partners were also present at the event.

The three awards were received by the President and the Vice President of the Group. Specifically, the Diamond Investor and Diamond Employer awards were presented to the Management by the President of the Hellenic Confederation of Commerce and Entrepreneurship, Mr. Stavros Kafounis, while the Diamond Classic award was presented by the General Manager of Naftemporiki, Mr. Spyros Ktenas.

Commenting on the significance of the triple distinction, Mr. Nikos Kourtidis noted that the recognition in the fields of employment and investment “reflects the Group’s philosophy of people-centered growth and the creation of real value for the economy and society.”
