A milestone celebration filled with emotion and memories for Kourtidis Group’s 30th anniversary

In a glamorous anniversary event held at the packed “Ballroom” of the Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki, Kourtidis Group celebrated 30 years of continuous growth in Development, Real Estate, Investments, Hospitality, and destination development on Wednesday, June 3rd. Under the central theme “A Vision That Became a Mission” the evening was an emotional journey through time, highlighting the key milestones of a trajectory that began in 1996 in Ofrynio Beach and evolved into a multifaceted, internationally recognized business Group.
In the presence of all associates, business community representatives, investors, and individuals who played a decisive role in the Group’s journey, the event unfolded three decades of history through audiovisual material, storytelling, special moments, and honorary mentions to those who left their own mark on the company’s evolution.

A story of faith, perseverance, and relentless effort. The story of people who started without established foundations or guaranteed opportunities, but with vision, hard work, and the conviction that any goal can be achieved when backed by dedication and consistency. A small family business born in 1996 in Ofrynio Beach evolved step-by-step through challenges, sacrifices, and countless hours of work into one of the most dynamic development groups in Northern Greece.
Attendees had the opportunity to witness this remarkable journey through a deeply moving 40-minute documentary interview featuring the President and Founder of Kourtidis Group, Nikos Kourtidis, Vice President Konstantina Dimitrova, and Niki Gavriilidou, Head of the Group’s Legal Department. Together, they shared personal moments, untold stories, and major milestones of their shared path. This story was captured and highlighted in his own unique way by journalist Stavros Theodorakis, shedding light not only on the Group’s corporate evolution but, most importantly, on the people behind it. Through an authentic and deep human narrative, the foundational values of this success were brought to the forefront: family, hard work, consistency, bold decision-making, and unwavering faith in a shared vision one that over the years transformed into an organization with a substantial footprint on the economy and development of the wider region.

A journey of creation and growth
The first part of the event was dedicated to the Group’s past and roots. Through an impressive timeline, pivotal moments of its business history were presented, from the founding of OIKO KOURTIDIS and President Nikos Kourtidis’s first steps in the real estate market, to the creation of landmark residential projects, the 2012 strategic partnership with Vice President Konstantina Dimitrova and RE/MAX Greece, international expansion, and entry into the hospitality sector. Great emotion was also stirred by the honorary awards presented to individuals who stood by the Group during different periods of its history, highlighting the importance of trust-based relationships, consistency, and a shared path to success.
The second part focused on the present day and current momentum. Kourtidis Group’s key performance indicators were presented, including its presence in 48 countries, an extensive portfolio of ongoing projects, and the awards and strategic partnerships that continuously strengthen its position in both the Greek and international markets.
The third part of the event was dedicated to the future, innovation, and the vision that evolved into a mission. The segment kicked off with the presentation of the new My Kourtidis Home App by Isaac Kourtidis, COO of the Group, who highlighted the importance of innovation and digital transformation in elevating customer experience. This was followed by the unveiling of the strategy for the next decade and the major development project “Alexandrou Chora”an ambitious initiative aiming to decisively contribute to redefining the wider region as an international investment, tourism, and cultural destination.
The future-focused segment was further enriched by the presence and speech of Ms. Angela Gerekou, Strategic Advisor to the Management of Kourtidis Group, former Deputy Minister of Tourism and Culture, and President of the Greek National Tourism Organization. Ms. Gerekou spoke on the importance of sustainable tourism development, congratulated the Group’s leadership on its three-decade journey, and expressed her confidence that the new development vision can serve as a powerful growth driver for the entire region.
Honoring the people who shape the region’s future
The event also highlighted the crucial role of individuals who, through their work and contribution, help shape the identity and future prospects of the region. In this context, the Group honored Ms. Dimitra Malamidou, Head of the Ephorate of Antiquities of Serres, for her long-standing contribution to promoting the region’s cultural heritage, as well as Mr. Michalis Lefantzis, Head of the Department of Ancient Monuments Studies at the Ministry of Culture, for his exceptional work in researching, protecting, and promoting major monuments of Greek history. The honorary awards were presented by Ms. Angela Gerekou.
Furthermore, the Group’s management presented an honorary award to Olympic Champion Pyrros Dimas, as an enduring symbol of strength, perseverance, and pushing boundaries. Upon receiving the award, he noted “We all know that behind every great success lie countless hours of effort, faith, difficulties, and obstacles. What makes the difference is never stopping to move forward.” It was a phrase that perfectly captured the core values that have guided the Group’s path over the last 30 years.
The Group’s new era and visual identity
The evening reached its peak during the future-dedicated segment, when the Group’s new visual identity was unveiled to the public for the first time. Through an impressive audiovisual spectacle, the new Kourtidis Group logo was revealed, signaling the dawn of a new era and the evolution of a brand that has been synonymous with growth and innovation for the past 30 years.
The new visual identity reflects the Group’s strategic direction for the coming years, highlighting its transformation into a modern organization that creates destinations, boosts tourism, and delivers experiences of enduring value. The unveiling of the new logo is the first step in a series of major announcements to be rolled out in the near future, marking the transition to a new chapter of international outreach.
