The story of Kourtidis Group began in 1996 with the founding of the construction company OIKO Kourtidis—a company that grew rapidly and played a decisive role in the residential development of the coastal zone of Ofrynio, Orfani, and Kariani in Northern Greece.
Three decades later, the initial idea has evolved into a powerful and multifaceted Group of companies, headquartered in Ofrynio Beach, Kavala, with major investments and iconic projects that are shaping the business and development landscape of the wider region.
OIKO Kourtidis constructs more than five residential complexes, with the “Panorama” in the area of Kariani standing as the “crown jewel”—today the largest residential complex in Northern Greece built exclusively by a single company.
A milestone year for the Group’s growth.
A cooperation agreement is signed with RE/MAX Greece, leading to the creation of RE/MAX Choice, with its first office established in Ofrynio Beach.
Establishment of the second RE/MAX Choice office in Kavala.
The company’s continuous growth over the following years makes its physical presence essential, leading to the opening of new RE/MAX Choice offices each year in Nea Iraklitsa, Serres, Drama, the island of Thassos, and Chrysoupoli.
The Group expands its activities and invests in the tourism sector, constructing and operating luxury tourist accommodations in Ofrynio Beach.
In the same year, the decision is made to design Alexandrou Chora, a visionary project expected to dramatically elevate both the scale and the dynamics of the Group—as well as transform the tourism profile of the region.
The idea that brings full vertical integration to the Group’s operations becomes a reality with the founding of Costa Ofrynio Booking, the Group’s property management company, and the launch of its own short-term rental platform for holiday homes in Ofrynio Beach.
A pivotal move takes place with the creation of the Investor Reception Department – GIS (Golden Investment Services), providing comprehensive, high-level services to every investor seeking to engage in any sector of the Greek economy.

The 10-year anniversary of RE/MAX Choice is celebrated with a commemorative conference.
As a culmination of the company’s collective efforts, several important distinctions and firsts are achieved in Greece, Europe, and worldwide.
For the first time in Greece, a team of RE/MAX Choice real estate consultants wins the Titan’s Club Award.
RE/MAX Choice also becomes the first RE/MAX Commercial member in the country, offering the One Stop Shop model in the commercial sector through the RE/MAX Choice Commercial Division.
During the same period, the Group launches Kourtidis Auction, an innovative online auction platform, marking the Group’s transition into a new digital era.
Kourtidis Group plans the next decade, having built strong foundations over the years.
New projects are in preparation, set to further enhance the development of the wider region, along with new products and services designed to inspire and satisfy its clients even more.
The Group “presses the start button” for the implementation of its ambitious Alexandrou Chora project.
With new investments and a clear focus on growth, the Group aims to reach the global market and bring international attention to the region, attracting major investors.
In the same year, the Group expands its construction activity to Thassos, further strengthening its presence in the Real Estate sector in Northern Greece.
Additionally, Kourtidis Group is honored for the first time among the distinguished companies at the “Diamonds of the Greek Economy” Awards by the Naftemporiki Group, recognizing its outstanding contribution to the national business landscape.

The Group now holds an extensive portfolio featuring over 3,500 completed holiday residences, while more than 1,820 new properties are currently under development.
The projects advanced during the year reaffirm the Group’s commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainable development, shaping both the business and investment landscape in Greece.
The year is also marked by a series of significant national and international distinctions.
For the second consecutive year, Kourtidis Group receives the Diamond of the Greek Economy and Diamond Investor Awards, while RE/MAX Choice maintains its No.1 production ranking in Greece for the third consecutive year.
The Group is also recognized as a Great Place to Work, as well as in the special categories Best Workplaces for Women and Best Workplaces Hellas 2025.

The Group’s international presence grows significantly with participation in MIPIM, the world’s largest real estate exhibition in Cannes, attracting global investor interest.
At the same time, it takes an active role in promoting regional growth and extroversion, organizing the Amphipolis Forum, the first development forum in Northern Greece, and hosting for the second consecutive year the Tourism Festival in the area.
The new decade is marked by the construction expansion of Kourtidis Group in Kavala and the commencement of a landmark project for the wider region — The Nea Polis.
This major urban redevelopment in Perigiali, with a budget exceeding €150 million, stands among the most ambitious projects in Greece.
Featuring six state-of-the-art residential complexes and over 500 homes, the project lays the foundations for a new model of urban development, radically transforming the image of the city’s eastern side.
During the same period, plans and permits advance for the creation of the world’s first theme park dedicated to the life and legacy of Alexander the Great.
In parallel, the Group acquires a 200,000 m² area for the development of a new project, while two additional strategic projects, covering 950,000 m² and 300,000 m², enter the design phase—further reinforcing the region’s development momentum and confirming Kourtidis Group’s leadership in the business and investment field.
