Three-day visit of a business delegation from America to Ofrynio Beach – Costa Ofrynio
Kourtidis Group’s development and investment projects impressed them
Last Monday, representatives and owners of large Real Estate offices from the US, members of the National Association of Realtors, visited Ofrynio Beach in Kavala, where they were hosted by Kourtidis Group of Companies. This three-day visit to our region was initiated by the Association of Certified Real Estate Agents of Greece (EPAA), as part of their tour of cities in Greece in order to review the current situation in the real estate sector and to search for investment opportunities in our country.
The American businessmen toured the projects and complexes built by Kourtidis Group, while they were informed about all the companies and activities of the group in the fields of construction, real estate, investment and tourism, the programs and the unique services it provides to its clients and investors. In the presentation event held at the Conference Center of Amphipolis the Mayor of Amphipolis Mr. Stergios Frastanlis also welcomed the foreign delegation and it is worth noting that the presentation did not include only the area of Ofrynio Beach. There was extensive reference to the comparative advantages of Kavala, Thassos, Serres and Drama.
The aroma of Greece was intense, as the hospitality program included a tour of tourist points of interest (Amphipolis archaeological site, Acropolis, Lion etc.), meals in local restaurants with traditional Greek flavors, a visit to the winery “Vivlia Chora” and “Farm Mousthenis”.
The President of Kourtidis Group Mr. Nikos Kourtidis expressed his absolute satisfaction for the success of the three-day event that enhanced the extroversion program and the promotion of investment opportunities of Ofrynio Beach – Costa Ofrynio by the group of companies. In a statement he said that “…We continue to support our place with promotional activities to professionals from all over the world. Ofrynio Beach – Costa Ofrynio is a new destination on the world tourist map and is now included in the list of areas of strong investment interest”.
The Vice President of the group, Mrs. Konstantina Dimitrova, particularly happy for the positive impact of the presentation of Kourtidis Group to the American guests, said that “The beauty, the development and especially the prospects of the wider region of Ofrynio Beach, Kavala, Drama, Serres and Thassos excited the American delegation, which showed a strong interest in investing in our country. We will be in close contact and we are sure that this interest will be reflected in partnerships and specific requests”.
For his part, the Honorary President of EPPA and representative to International Organizations Mr. Nikos Manomenidis, who was the head of the mission, expressed his satisfaction. “We would really like to thank the Kourtidis Group for the impeccable hospitality and absolute professionalism, which impressed the American guests. Their acquaintance with the region caused great surprise for all that it has to offer to tourists, visitors and investors, and the overall activity of the Kourtidis Group left an excellent impression. The delegation of foreign businessmen was naturally met and talked with the president of the Chamber of Kavala, Mr. Markos Dembas, who in a statement after their meeting said that “We had the opportunity to highlight the advantages of our region. There are infrastructures, there is an international airport, there is a port, a motorway that can connect Thessaloniki with the Balkans, which within a few hours one can be in Sofia, Belgrade, Istanbul and beyond that to show that in addition to these infrastructures we have natural beauties, archaeological sites, cultural life, which can attract a number of investors. That’s what we stressed to our visitors, that this is a growing area, which is worth coming to, promoting and investing in.”
