Kourtidis Group’s big meeting with Greek-American businessmen in New York

The investment opportunities and the beauties of our country in the spotlight

On Tuesday, May 2, at Chiotes Hall in downtown Manhattan, in the heart of New York City, Kourtidis Group and RE/MAX Choice held an event entitled “Invest in Greece” for Greek-American and American businessmen, investors and real estate professionals. In a packed room, they analyzed the conditions prevailing in the tourism and investment sector. In addition, they presented the ways of investing in Greece, new products, unique opportunities in the real estate sector and the projects of Kourtidis Group of Companies in Northern Greece.

The attendees of the big business event had the opportunity to get to know everything that Kourtidis Group has achieved in the field of construction, investments, real estate and hospitality. The dozens of RE/MAX Choice awards at national, European and global level, the Group’s ongoing projects and its investment activities, as well as its big vision, the Alexandrou Chora project, made an impression. In addition, the Head of the Legal Department, Kleoniki Gavriilidou, provided information on exceptional legal and real estate issues, as well as details and actions related to the real estate sector.

An important part of the event was dedicated to the presentation of the long history of our country and its natural beauties. Amphipolis with the imposing Kasta Tomb, which recently came back into the spotlight, is located just a few kilometers from the headquarters of Kourtidis Group. “Here beats the heart of world history”, said Nikos Kourtidis, President of Kourtidis Group and Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Choice. This was the inspiration for the souvenir gift designed especially for the guests of the event, which caused shivers of emotion. A souvenir made of white Thassos marble, the same material used to construct the Tomb’s perimeter. Engraved on it the symbol of the Macedonian land, the Lion of Amphipolis, in a circular shape, to remind the famous mints of the region.

Mr.Kourtidis, said he was absolutely satisfied by the acceptance and interest of the guests: “We were honored to have such great businessmen of the Greek Diaspora and America beside us. Our goal at this stage is to develop relationships of trust and cooperation. The first step has been taken and in an emphatic way.”

The Vice President of Kourtidis Group and Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Choice Konstantina Dimitrova added that: “Today, here, we have confirmed the interest from America, both from Greek expatriates and Americans, in our country, in investment and tourism. With our business delegation we are also reaching out to this market, uniting these two worlds. Our region really has a lot of investment opportunities to showcase.”

Important meetings and contacts

During the stay of the Kourtidis Group’s business delegation in America, separate meetings were held with businessmen and representatives of the Greek community.

On the sidelines of the traditional parade of expatriates for the anniversary of the Greek Revolution of 1821 that took place on New York’s 5th Avenue, the President and Vice President of Kourtidis Group had the opportunity to meet with Archbishop Elpidophoros of America and receive the blessing of His Eminence.
