Όπως επισημάνθηκε βάσει στοιχείων που παρουσίασε η επικεφαλής Ερευνών της διαΝΕΟσις Φαίη Μακαντάση, το 1/3 της συνολικής δαπάνης των Ευρωπαίων τουριστών τα επόμενα χρόνια θα προέρχεται από άτομα ηλικίας 65 ετών και πάνω.
